Today, we proudly celebrate the 128th Philippine Independence Day and honor the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who fought for our freedom.

As we reflect on our nation's journey, we also celebrate the rich cultural heritage, traditions, and values that continue to unite Filipinos around the world. The Philippine flag is more than a national symbol. Every color, star, and ray tells a story of freedom, courage, unity, and hope.

At the Philippine Living Heritage Initiative, our mission is to preserve, promote, and pass on the stories, traditions, and legacy of the Filipino people to future generations. The Philippine Living Heritage Initiative extends its warmest congratulations to Iskwelahang Pilipino (IP) on the celebration of its 50th Anniversary!

For five decades, IP has been a beacon of Filipino culture, language, values, and identity, nurturing generations of young Filipino Americans to remain connected to their heritage while thriving as global citizens.

We are especially grateful for our partnership through The Filipino Young Global Leadership Program. Together, we share a mutual mission: empowering young people to lead with purpose, embrace their cultural roots, and make meaningful contributions to their communities and the world. Through this collaboration, we continue to invest in the next generation of leaders who embody the best of Filipino values, excellence, and service.
