Norfolk Street Bridge

Norfolk Street Bridge Members of Redifining Our Community (R.O.C) Civic Association in Dorchester are seeking your support (Therefore)

We the residents of R.O.C.

(What and Who)

We the People are reaching out to gain the community support in getting a bridge renovated on Norfolk Street in Dorchester. (Why)

The Bridge has become a serious Public Safety Issue since before the start of COVID 19. The bridge is a worn-out eyesore, exposed to graffiti, trash, urine, etc. In addition to this, there have been multiple incidents of harassment and domestic violence

during the night time giving fear to all pedestrians due to lack of view over the rusted metal barrier and street lighting. (Redefine Our Community Civic Association) would like to see a newly renovated bridge with more lighting and more transparency for pedestrians, bikers, and cars in order to encourage safer routes for our youth and families. Just like the recently renovated adjacent bridge on Morton Street, we would like to name the bridge and have a potential art piece from our local artist. Thank you for your support!

Good Evening Neighbors,

I hope all is well. Thank you to everyone who was able to join me and my church in fellowship and for a conversation on community and church restoration! As I am now just a few pages away from earning 1,500 Signatures to qualify for the 2023 Election, I am putting out a Community Call To Action! I am asking all volunteers to meet me at the Norfolk Street Bridge on Sunday and Monday at 2PM to make a final push over the finish line and give our community the representation we deserve! If you have any questions, please email me at [email protected] or call me at 857-453-4223. Thank you all for your support and I am looking forward to seeing you soon!
