Sometimes you just wanna hold a good book in your hand and immerse yourself in printed pages. Did you know there are not one, but TWO independent bookstores in the Seaport, right on Fan Pier Marina?

East End Books Boston Seaport is on Pier 4, a stone’s throw from Woods Hill Pier 4 and the ICA. They have a wonderfully curated selection of books and even a section for people who love vinyl.

Porter Square Books Boston Edition is across Fan Pier Marina, right next to Davio’s and the ReelHouse Oyster Bar on Fan Pier. They moved into the space as part of GrubStreet’s relocation to the Seaport. They share the first floor with the Fabulist Cafe and a stage for the literary arts. GrubStreet, one of the nation’s leading creative writing centers, is on the second floor. Sooo many books and other fun stuff stocked on the shelves!
