It’s a VIVRANT thing...AGAIN! We’re back in two weeks with our party and we heard y’all the last time so we’re opening doors at 9pm and running til 1 am. Come enjoy the summertime with good music, good drinks, and good dancing. Catch y’all on the floor!

✨Presenting “ARCHIVES”, a new TFC series to revisit our scene’s past to make sense of the present and inform our future.

Our first ARCHIVES feature is the legendary “Spinfactor / B-Boy Olympics” vhs tape taking us back to the summer of 2002 in Providence RI, presented by Keebla & Crazy Freddy.

*Free if you were at Spinfactor / B-Boy Olympics in 2002
*Free for high school students and younger

Spinfactor / B-Boy Olympics is 90-minutes full of epic exhibition battles of b-boys from MA, CT, NY, DMV, Texas, California, and Canada, that ends up in an all out East vs West battle. We’ll see familiar faces of people still around today, faces of people that we miss dearly, and many who’ve become pillars in their own state/country. And we’ll be watching it with some of the people that were there and made it possible.

💥 June 9 - Creativity in Footwork w/ Step2
Inspiring creativity through footwork with drills, exercises and concepts to help create/find your own style. Will help to improve something you’re already working on.

💥 June 16 - Musicality, Transitions, and Signatures w/ RTHYM
Exploring the connection between musicality and creativity to develop original transitions. This workshop builds off each participant’s existing vocabulary. All levels are welcome.

💥 June 23 - Toprock for Beginners w/ Step2
Learn some of the basics, rocking them with musicality, and finding your own style with it. Will help to improve something you’re already working on.

💥 June 30 - Explosiveness in Spin Moves and Ground Power w/ RTHYM
Focusing on drills, concepts and techniques to feel more explosiveness in power moves. Recommended that you have a basic spin move (backspin, headspin, handglide, 1990, etc) and other power moves to get the most out of the workshop. All levels are welcome.

Up your basics with Mckersin as he expands on foundational movements and grooves within house.

💥 May 19 - Exploring Floor work w/ Saturn
A beginner friendly workshop to explore floor work movement through a house dance lens.

💥 May 26 - House Guided Session w/ Mckersin & Saturn
A guided session with two experienced cultural practitioners. Expect individual time to review concepts from previous workshops, tailored feedback, and open ended time to explore in an informal session-based approach.
