On a clear night sky, The Friends of the Mary Ellen Welch Greenway welcomed Popscope Boston at Bremen Street Park to observe the moon on International Observe the Moon 🌙 Day.

An enthusiastic crowd of all ages gathered around telescopes and observed the Moon and Saturn!

Big thanks to the volunteers at Popscope for bringing this to East Boston!

Also thanks to the Friends of the East Boston Public Library for giving out astronomy books to our future stargazers!

Join us tonight!!

Interested in gazing at the stars, the moon, the sky and all that is above through a lens? Popscope Boston and the Friends of the Mary Ellen Welch Greenway will offer that opportunity for the community to become an "astronomer" for one night at Bremen Street Park.

We welcome all ages to attend on
