The Harborview Residents Committee (HRCI) is the authority wide resident board representing families living in Snug Harbor, Riverview and West Acres. The role of HRCI is to improve the quality of life and resident satisfaction and participate in the self-help initiates that enable residents to create a positive living environment for families living in public housing. Resident boards actively part
icipate through a working partnership with the housing authority to advise and assist in all aspects of public housing operations. Further the Harborview Residents Committee fosters communication between residents, the Quincy Housing Authority, and public and private institutions and agencies, represents the residents in the planning and review of programs to be implemented, provides opportunity for residents to participate in programs, works together with the Authority to provide opportunity for joint resolution regarding area needs, and fosters communication between residents and the housing authority.
