Before we close the month out, in honor of Mother’s Day and Mental Health Awareness Month, we wanted to highlight B and give flowers for all the system impacted moms: Those who are incarcerated, have children incarcerated, or have lost loved ones to violence.

And flowers to these amazing mom led orgs (, , and more) that support them and surround them in love & community. 🌸

Moms, remember to take time for yourself and breathe in..breathe out.

It’s always refreshing to start off Mother’s Day with the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute’s Mother’s Day Walk for Peace () 🌸

Yesterday in particular marked 30 YEARS STRONG, where we celebrated holding space on Mother’s Day for 30 years in our community’s continued fight for peace so that eventually all mothers can walk the streets without fear of losing their child. For the 30th time, we came together to celebrate all moms, both behind and outside the walls, to let them know that they are not alone and they are seen.

This walk is the embodiment of peace, love, dance, celebration, unity and great vibes.

We are always honored to be a part of this adored Boston tradition brought to us by the Peace Institute, and can’t wait to continue walking next year! 💜

Prom King and Queen votes have been rolling in!! Here are our current leads with Kentel and Blandine front in center.

It hasn’t been a week and so far we have raised over $2,000 to help us continue doing the work that we do to support our community on the inside and out.

We want to thank everyone who’s participated in voting, volunteering, donating and purchasing prom tickets so far. Our team feels truly loved!
