TOMORROW! Doug Bandow will be speaking on foreign policy and the Afghanistan Pullout in room 507 at 12 noon. Come by for a great talk and free food! Also, all 1L students that stay for the entire talk will be entered to win a $30 gift card to Dunkin Donuts!!

Attention NESL! We have two great events coming up this week. First, on October 4th at 6pm in room 502, we will be hosting our first Cases and Controversies on the role of the judicial branch in America! Come with thoughts, ideas, and even cases and share your opinions! Then, on October 6th at noon in room 507, we have a special guest coming to speak. Doug Bandow is a senior fellow at the Cato Institute and worked in the Reagan Administration. He will be discussing foreign policy and the Afghanistan Pullout. It should be a great discussion and we hope to see you all there!

ATTENTION NESL!! The Federalist Society has not one, but TWO awesome meetings this week!! Tonight at 6:30 on the Moot Courtroom we will have our first General Assembly meeting, followed up by the first event in our Speaker Series on Tuesday, September 28, where Baylen Linnekin will be here talking about Food Law and Policy in room 507 at 11am. These will both be great events, and we hope to see you there!

Happy early Constitution Day! We had a great event today with a very informative and interesting documentary, followed by great discussion. Thanks to New England Law’s chapter for co-hosting and putting in the effort to make it happen!

THIS THURSDAY!! The Federalist Society and the American Constitution Society will be showing a documentary from noon to 1pm to celebrate Constitution Day! We will have free pizza and beverages, as well as an awesome documentary and a great discussion to follow. Hope to see you there!

Not a big turnout today, but that’s not what today was about. Today was about honoring those involved in the 9/11 tragedy. Today was about paying respect, educating ourselves about the events that led up to that horrible day, and, most of all, making sure the memory of all those involved is never forgotten. Thank you to everyone who got up this morning and showed up. It was a fantastic event. 🇺🇸

Join us in solitude this Saturday at 8:30 am in room 502 to honor the lives lost 20 years ago on September 11, 2001. We will be having a moment of silence, followed by watching a documentary with a discussion to follow. We hope to see you there!
