Through the Welcome Home, Boston program, the City of Boston has allotted $58 million in American Rescue Plan (ARPA) funding to fast-track the production of new affordable homes. In partnership with Co-Everything and Erise Builders, BNCLT is excited to announce that our proposal for up to five homes for affordable ownership in Dorchester has been invited to present to the city and community. Have your state legislators heard from you? The Joint Committee on Housing has until this Wednesday, February 7, to decide whether H.1350/S.880, An Act to Guarantee a Tenant’s First Right of Refusal, better known as T**A, should move forward this legislative session. We have a critical window to continue building the momentum for T**A—and that’s where your voice can make all the difference!

Please take a few minutes today to email your state legislators and ask them to actively support H.1350/S.880 by urging members of the Joint Committee to issue a favorable report for T**A today!

Spending the day and building community w/CLT peers from New Jersey, West Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, and New Orleans. Started off with a tour of BNCLT properties in (including a property currently undergoing a retrofit to go , pictured) followed by a visit to City Life/Vida Urbana for lunch and more learning from each other.
