Let's compare postmodern visions of NYC from two angles- the first is Michael Graves' interpretation of the city's skyline for his design of EuroDisney's Disney Hotel New York (built in 1992), and the second is the exterior of the 1989 office building at 60 Wall Street, designed by Kevin Roche and John Dinkeloo. Both images craft stories about the time and place in which they were made, and both will be discussed as part of HPEF's upcoming webinar on Preserving the Recent Past: Researching and Advocating for Postmodernism on Tuesday, September 16 at 12PM Eastern Time. More information about the event and registration is available at www.hpef.us

This program will feature presentations by Maxime Coq of and Andrea Goldwyn of for a discussion moderated by HPEF Board member Priya Jain of Texas A&M University College of Architecture. This free event will be centered on projects that have advanced the study and understanding of postmodern architecture.
