Special Announcement to our Newbury Cup members planning to walk in this wknd!
Due to external factors beyond their control…associated with the impacts of recent record snowfall & sustained frigid temperatures, the Winter Walk event cannot be set up safely on Boston Common this weekend & has been rescheduled to March 22, 2026.
They regret any inconvenience this rescheduled date might cause. While disappointing, this change is also a powerful reminder of the reality our unhoused neighbors face every day.
For many people experiencing homelessness, winter weather isn’t an inconvenience or a reason to postpone plans—it’s a daily and often dangerous challenge…underscoring why this work matters so deeply.
