We’re incredibly honored and grateful to share that Bridge Forward has been selected as a 2026 NBCUniversal Local Impact Grant recipient, receiving $50,000 in unrestricted funding! 💙

The NBCUniversal Local Impact Grants program invests in nonprofit organizations creating meaningful change in their communities. This year, $2.5 million in unrestricted funding was awarded to 80 nonprofits across 11 markets nationwide, and we are incredibly proud to be among the organizations selected.

This recognition and investment mean so much to us. At Bridge Forward, our work is rooted in walking alongside individuals and families experiencing financial hardship and helping create pathways toward greater stability and opportunity. Unrestricted funding like this gives us the flexibility to respond to the real needs of our community and deepen the impact of that work.

As our team shared:
“We are so incredibly honored and grateful to be one of the recipients of a $50,000 NBCUniversal Local Impact Grant! These times require deep investment like this and unrestricted funding. We plan to help support families experiencing financial hardship in our community.”

We are deeply grateful to NBCUniversal for believing in our work, investing in our community, and helping us continue to grow our impact.

We’re excited for what this investment will make possible for the families and communities we serve. 💙

We’re building something meaningful.

Bridge Forward’s Economic Prosperity Program is designed to support individuals and families with practical financial tools, education, and guidance that can be applied in real life.

While we’re still in the development phase, this work is already grounded in what we see every day through financial coaching, community engagement, and direct support.

✨ Currently supporting 300+ community members
✨ Designing tools and resources that are simple, practical, and accessible
✨ Building a program that grows with our community

This program is being developed in phases to ensure it is thoughtful, responsive, and impactful:

→ Building the foundation
→ Preparing for participant access
→ Expanding tools, resources, and reach

This is just the beginning, and we’re excited to continue growing this work.

We’re incredibly honored to share that Bridge Forward has been named a 2026 Lenny Zakim Fund Grantee Partner 💙

The Lenny Zakim Fund is a powerful force across Massachusetts—supporting grassroots organizations that are deeply rooted in their communities and working to advance equity, justice, and opportunity. Their focus on smaller, community-based nonprofits ensures that resources reach the people and places where they are needed most.

As part of this year’s cohort, Bridge Forward stands alongside fellow grantee partners collectively serving 22 communities across Massachusetts—each of us bringing forward solutions shaped by lived experience and a deep commitment to those we serve.

This recognition means so much to us.
Because at Bridge Forward, our work is personal.

We support individuals and families navigating the space between stability and crisis—the “in-between” where many are doing everything right and still facing systemic barriers. Through financial coaching, resource navigation, and direct support, we walk alongside our community with care, consistency, and trust.

To be recognized and supported by the Lenny Zakim Fund affirms not only our work, but the voices, experiences, and resilience of the families we serve every day.

We are proud.
We are grateful.
And we are just getting started.

Thank you to the Lenny Zakim Fund for investing in community-driven change and for believing in organizations like ours.

💬 If you’d like to learn more, partner, or support our work, we’d love to connect.
