As the 2026 Summer approaches, Chinatown Main Street (Boston) is planning many events and festivals to welcome all to visit and enjoy.
The City of Boston in the Month of June & July 2026, is adding a Special Summer Program. Boston is anticipating many visitors this summer, anticipating many visitors planning to visit Boston this summer, with the World Cup matches in Foxboro, Tall Ships heading into the Boston Harbor, and the Massachusetts 250th Anniversary all happening in June and July.
The City of Boston also taking this opportunity to activate the Liberty Tree Plaza in front of the China Trade Center at 2 Boylston Street, Boston. The city is creating this reinterpretation of this legacy site as a civic gathering place with the theme “Color Flows at Liberty Tree Plaza”, with Chinese food vendors, contemporary Arts & Cultural performances, and many other cultural activities, such as Lion dance, Kung Fu, Martial arts, Tai Chi; Cultural Folk Dances and Chinese Musical Instrument concerts; and welcoming local, national, and international soccer fans to Boston for the World Cup matches, or to catch a glimpse of the Historical Tall Ships parading the Boston Harbor.
