In light of the recent political erosion of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in higher education and various organizations, it is imperative to assert ACE's unwavering commitment to these critical values.
The United States thrives when all its people, especially students, are empowered to lead fulfilling, high-quality lives.
As we witness a concerning decline in DEI initiatives, it is crucial to emphasize how Accelerated College Experiences (ACE) remains steadfast in addressing the urgent need for the continuous development of marginalized students seeking educational opportunities and economic mobility.
Our vision is to forge pathways enabling all students from marginalized communities to harness the resources essential for academic success and personal growth. We are dedicated to empowering these students to utilize their acquired knowledge, skills, and character to challenge and dismantle the barriers that impede their access to internships, career opportunities, and financial advancement.
Our aspiration is for these students to realize their visions for their futures and serve as beacons of hope and inspiration for their communities and future generations. They embody resilience; they do not hesitate to seek opportunities and take decisive action.
We believe economic mobility can be achieved by applying the four ACE Pillars: self-direction, self-management, self-advocacy, and self-correction. By integrating these principles into their college experiences and daily lives, we equip students to ascend the economic ladder over time.
At ACE, we coach students to embrace a mindset of accountability, empowering them to adapt to challenges and seize unforeseen opportunities with confidence and determination. Together, we can create a brighter future for all.
