Andrew (9) & Ava (5) & Friends was formed in 2021 after visiting the Julia Degnan lemonade stand in Dracut. In 2023 A&A&F raised a total of $6,896!

At Andrew & Ava & Friends Charity Lemon-Aid Stand, our mission is to inspire children and families to make a meaningful difference in their community by turning a simple lemonade stand into an opportunity to give back. Julia raises money every year to buy toys for sick children in the hospital. Andrew, who was 6 at that time, was so inspired by Julia that he asked to do his own stand to help her raise money for children in need. Their first year (2021) Andrew & Ava & Friends raised $2,962 and donated 100% of their earnings to The Julia Degnan Fundraiser. Julia combined the earnings from A&A&F along with her own earnings and purchased thousands of dollars in toys to be donated to Lawrence General Hospital Pediatric Department. She's a remarkable young lady and A&A&F are proud to call her our friend. In year two (2022) A&A&F raised $2,987 with the help of some of their friends. The kids donated $1,000 to Jimmy Fund Walk / Dana Farber Cancer Research in Honor of Riley Cruz, $1,000 to The Child Advocacy Center of Hillsborough County / Pelham Police "Beards for Bucks" (Thanks to Sgt. Matt Keenliside), and the balance of $987 was used to purchase food and household items for the Pelham Food Pantry. The kids did all the shopping, loading, unloading, and stocking of shelves at the food pantry. They donated the following amounts to the following organizations: $902 to the Pelham Police Relief Assoc., $1,000 to the Pelham Food Pantry, a $3,000 custom friendship bench to the Pelham Elementary School, $1,000 to the Tilton NH Veterans Home, $250 for Veteran grave markers for Gibson Cemetery - Pelham NH, $400 in collars, leashes, and dog toys to the Animal Rescue Network of New England, $344 TBD. Their mission statement is to have fun spreading kindness and compassion while making a difference in their community one cup of "lemon-aid" at a time!

Tonight we presented in front of the Board of Selectmen for the second time this month.

This time we were asking for the BOS to accept our donation of 55 US Veteran Plaques for Gibson Cemetery here in Pelham. The total cost of these plaques is $500 and we asked that we are allowed to place them at the resting place of Veterans who don't currently have Veteran markers on their grave. We asked for permission to do this on Veterans Day this year as part of the Veterans Day Ceremony at Gibson Cemetery.

Our friend, Cemetery Director, Sean Cunnigham presented with us and our friends Madeline and Jorg Dreusicke were in the audience to support us and cheer us on!

Thank you to everyone who has donated or purchased a cup on Lemon-Aid to help make these lessons possible.

Oh yea.....The Board of Selectmen unanimously voted YES!!!!

Remember to always thank a Veteran for their service and sacrifice. We wouldn't have lemonade without them!

Today we made our 5th annual Columbus Day donation to the Pelham Food Pantry. In 5 years we've donated over $5,500 to the Pelham Food Pantry.

We understand that sometimes our friends, neighbors, and classmates may be facing challenges we know nothing about. By donating food, we hope to help families during difficult times and remind them that their community cares.

Thank you to Miss Cheryl @ The Food Pantry for being a great friend to us these past 5 years and thank to everyone who's ever supported us by donating and/or buying a cup of Lemon-Aid to make these lessons possible for us.

Remember, It costs nothing to be kind.

Thank you to the Pelham Board of Selectman for unanimously voting in favor of our donation to the Pelham Police Animal Shelter! We will be building outdoor stairs for the animal shelter kennels so that the dogs staying there can safely get in and out to play and get exercise.

We will be building these stairs with the guidance of Nino Giuffrida, Sal Giuffrida, and Chris Levesque who all have expertise in building and construction. They are also donating their time and talents.

Special thanks to our friend Scott Paquette at Hudson Lumber for donating the materials for us to build these stairs. This will be an amazing lesson for us that we will all be so proud of. Thank you Coach Paquette and Hudson Lumber!!!

Thank you to Chief Perriello, and the entire Pelham Police Department for always believing in us and supporting our efforts. You are great friends, and mentors!

A huge shout out to everyone who donated to our cause that helps us give back to our community and learn these valuable lessons.

Last night our Leadership Team held our annual board meeting to discuss and vote on where our charitable contributions will go this year. We’re grateful for the input from our new Leadership members who completely understand our mission and goals.

Another successful Lemon-Aid stand at Pelham Elementary School's Meet and Greet and Lemon-Aid season is officially over for AAF!

What a great morning at PES seeing all of our friends, seeing our new classrooms, and meeting our new teachers! Our oldest and our youngest held down the fort today as some our our leadership team started Middle School today. They were missed but managed and had a great day!

Stay tuned for our final number but......THIS WAS OUR BIGGEST SEASON EVER!!!!

Thank you to everyone who dropped by and/or sent electronic, cash, and check donations for yesterdays lemon-aid charity fundraiser!

We're not done yet but it looks like a record breaking, historic lemonade season for Andrew & Ava & Friends! We had new friends join our stand this year to help us spread kindness and give back to our community and we're excited to start our donations over the next few months.

So grateful to all of you for your support and to all of our friends and their families for always pitching in to work the stand and make a difference!
