The Department, in partnership with Pat Spradley, former chief of parent and community engagement for Springfield Public Schools, and the School & Main Institute, is offering up to three school districts a new opportunity to strengthen district systems for family engagement through the Massachusetts Family-School Partnership Initiative. This pilot initiative, based on the updated Massachusetts Family, School, and Community Partnership Fundamentals - Version 2.0 (available for download at https://www.doe.mass.edu/sfs/fscp-fundamentals.docx), will support the innovation and implementation of powerful family engagement strategies this year and beyond.

Districts that are interested in being part of the pilot will be asked to submit a brief application by Tuesday, January 26.
