On National Museum Day, we’re reflecting on the power of spaces that preserve history, spark dialogue, and inspire future generations.
That’s what made JLH Fund’s collaboration with MFA Boston around *Witnessing Humanity: The Art of John Wilson* so meaningful.
Through the partnership, entrepreneurs from JLH’s inaugural Boston cohort — hand-selected by Jrue Holiday, Lauren Holiday, and Jaylen Brown — experienced the exhibit as more than visitors. They were invited to reflect on how their own work as creators and founders contributes to culture, community, and the stories we carry forward.
John Wilson’s work challenged invisibility and documented Black life with honesty, dignity, and care. That mission deeply aligned with the vision behind JLH: investing in people whose work creates lasting impact far beyond themselves.
Wilson’s commitment to Boston, representation, and humanity mirrored the kind of impact JLH hopes to continue building.
This collaboration reminded us that museums can be more than places we visit. They can be places where communities connect, creators feel seen, and history becomes a conversation instead of a memory.
If your institution believes in using culture, creativity, and community as tools for impact, we’d love to build together.
