Environmental inequity has long shaped where communities live, breathe, and gather.

RemixEcology is reimagining how communities connect with nature, expanding access, restoring green spaces, and empowering people to build healthier, more sustainable neighborhoods.

Their work bridges environmental justice with everyday life, proving that clean, safe, accessible ecosystems are a right, not a privilege.

This is what community renewal looks like.

Follow JLH Grantee RemixEcology, give if you can, and spread the word to help them restore more green spaces where families can gather and grow.

Self-care should be intergrated into your everyday life.

It’s not your fault that you struggle with self-care because grind/hustle culture and capitalism teach us to put work before our wellbeing. You don’t need to be productive 24/7, you’re a human being NOT a human doing. You deserve rest, joy, play and to take care of your body.

If you need help prioritizing yourself and making self-care a daily practice, check out JLH Fund Grantee

Mentorship is one of the most powerful things one woman can offer another.

At the Create Your Joyful Life event, mentors and mentees came together not just to connect, but to dream. To sit side by side and imagine what a full, joy-filled life could look like — and then start building it.

What these mothers did not know was that Joie had already invested in their year. As the sponsor of One Happy Mama’s full cohort through the JLH Fund, Joie did not just show up for the moment; they showed up for the whole journey. And then surprised every single one of them with the products they had placed on their vision boards.

Joy shared is joy multiplied.

After surviving a brain tumor, Lauren Holiday found her joy. It came in the form of a baby.

She wanted these mothers to feel that same thing.

Through a partnership with the JLH Fund, Joie made it possible, showing up for a room full of mothers and for the organization that holds space for all of them, One Happy Mama.

Turns out joy is contagious when the right people are spreading it.

JLH Fund Grantee One Happy Mama was built on one belief: happy mothers raise happier, healthier babies.

Founder Janitza has spent years creating space for mothers in New Orleans to feel supported, seen, and celebrated. This year, Joie made sure those same mothers felt what real investment looks like.

Through a partnership with Lauren Holiday and the JLH Fund, Joie sponsored One Happy Mama’s full cohort of mothers this year. They also brought that same room full of mothers together to design vision boards for the lives they were working toward. What they did not know was that many of the Joie products they had placed on those boards were already waiting for them.

Some things are just better when shared. Joy included.

Lately, it feels like everything is heavy; the news, the pace, the pressure, and the uncertainty.

It’s community work, and no one should have to carry it alone.community is how we survive. These next few days, we’re spotlighting the mental health leaders within the JLH community who show up year-round, creating space for rest, care, and restoration when life feels overwhelming.

They remind us that mental health isn’t an individual burden.

It’s community work and no one should have to carry it alone.

Follow along. Support the people doing the heart work.

On National Museum Day, we’re reflecting on the power of spaces that preserve history, spark dialogue, and inspire future generations.

That’s what made JLH Fund’s collaboration with MFA Boston around *Witnessing Humanity: The Art of John Wilson* so meaningful.

Through the partnership, entrepreneurs from JLH’s inaugural Boston cohort — hand-selected by Jrue Holiday, Lauren Holiday, and Jaylen Brown — experienced the exhibit as more than visitors. They were invited to reflect on how their own work as creators and founders contributes to culture, community, and the stories we carry forward.

John Wilson’s work challenged invisibility and documented Black life with honesty, dignity, and care. That mission deeply aligned with the vision behind JLH: investing in people whose work creates lasting impact far beyond themselves.

Wilson’s commitment to Boston, representation, and humanity mirrored the kind of impact JLH hopes to continue building.

This collaboration reminded us that museums can be more than places we visit. They can be places where communities connect, creators feel seen, and history becomes a conversation instead of a memory.

If your institution believes in using culture, creativity, and community as tools for impact, we’d love to build together.

Follow along as JLH continues creating experiences where history, entrepreneurship, and opportunity meet .

Happy Mother’s Day to every woman who shows up — for her children, her community, and herself.

Lauren Holiday built the JLH Fund as an act of love. Love for community. Love for future generations. Love for the founders, families, and mothers who deserved more than what systems offered them.

Today we celebrate her. We celebrate every mother in our grantee community who is building businesses, leading organizations, and raising children at the same time.

We celebrate the mothers who are changing the world quietly, consistently, and without waiting for permission.

Drop a heart in the comments for a mother whose love has shaped you.

The SPARK Act was designed in partnership with the JLH Fund and , shaped directly by the outcomes of the Boston Creator Accelerator and what we’ve seen happen when founders are given real investment and real support.

With National Small Business Day approaching, this is a timely reminder of what’s at stake. The businesses keeping our communities thriving deserve more than acknowledgment. They deserve the coordinated, long-term resources that actually move the needle.

That’s what the SPARK Act is working to make possible; not just in Boston, but across the country.

As a nonpartisan organization, JLH Fund is committed to supporting policies and partnerships that create real economic opportunity for underrepresented founders.

Follow along as we continue building with key leaders like Senator Markey, Senator Cory Booker, Senator Hirono, and Representative Ayanna Presley and to ensure founders everywhere can access what it takes to grow.
