And that's a wrap for this year's Novruz festivities! We enjoyed yet another year celebrating our favorite holiday, Novruz, at the MFA! With over 2,200 visitors that day, the evening was even more exciting and engaging. They learned about how Azerbaijan celebrates Novruz, interacted with our xoncha table displays, put on our national costumes, and took theme photos with one-of-a-kind handmade decorations created by our member. We are excited for next year as exciting changes are in the works to make it even bigger and amazing. 'Til next year!

It's Novruz time of the year and we're preparing another beautiful table display at the Museum of Fine Arts! The event is 5-9 and will be filled with music, colorful xoncha displays, and, as always, great vibes. We hope to see you all there! Tickets are $5.

And with that, our Novruz celebrations have finally come to an end! Azerbaijani Society of New England participated in three amazing events, making it our busiest Novruz season to date! It was our 3rd time showcasing Azerbaijani Novruz culture at the annual celebration at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, which drew a whopping 2,500 attendees in a single day, making it MFA's most popular event of the year! Special thanks to Naoko Takayanagi, Executive Director of Japan Society of Boston and our fellow Institute for Nonprofit Practice fellow, for stopping by and saying hello! ❤️🎉

ASNE also participated in Novruz festivities with our sister organization Azerbaijan Society of Maine in Maine, with representatives of over 10 diverse communities. Special thanks to our community elder Tarlan Ahmadov for putting together yet another amazing event!

We were also honored to help Azerbaijani students at the Novruz celebration at Harvard University. Over 10 diverse communities showcased their unique traditions and love of Novruz. We are grateful for all of our staff that helped make these three events a success and even more grateful to all those that attended one (or two or even all three!) events and helped showcase our Azerbaijani heritage to the greater Boston, Cambridge, and Maine communities.
