Excited to share that TVP Scholar, Cristian (Abbott Lawrence Academy, Franklin Pierce University) secured an internship this summer with TVP corporate partner, Rockland Trust! Let’s hear about his experience so far:

“Grateful to have gotten a Rockland Trust’s summer internship because it offers hands-on experience in banking while helping me grow both professionally and personally. As an Accounting major, I’m grateful for the opportunity to strengthen my customer service, financial skills and search project development skills, while building meaningful relationships, and learning from the incredible Rockland Trust team throughout the summer.”

Scholar Story: Alan (Chelsea High, UMass Boston) had an opportunity to visit the UN this spring! Let’s hear about his experience:

“I was invited to participate in the Global Engagement Summit hosted by the United Nations Association of the United States, an event held in the UN General Assembly. There, I had the opportunity to listen to powerful and inspiring voices of global leaders. As Managing Director Farad Eck said best, “Now’s the time to stand up and show the world that the writers of a better future are right here in the General Assembly Hall.”

Hearing words that motivate emerging leaders was both powerful and inspiring. As a first-year, first-generation student, this experience encouraged me to continue pursuing my dreams regardless of any barriers.”

TVP Scholar Brianna, Lawrence HS ‘23, UPenn ‘27, recently studied abroad in Italy! Let’s hear her experience:

“This past fall, I had the privilege of studying abroad at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy! This semester was truly transformative, allowing me to explore Italian culture firsthand after studying the language for a year. I visited 13 Italian cities and 9 countries (my favorites being Florence and Switzerland). My abroad experience gave me a new perspective on the world, lasting memories, and a severe gelato addiction!”

We had a wonderful outing yesterday to the , with a tour that spanned across the entire museum! TVP scholars came from Boston, Brockton, Lawrence, Chelsea, and Worcester for the tour!
