Before the school year gets busy, take a few minutes to secure substances and medications at home. Among Bolton students who report alcohol use, 42% say they obtain alcohol from home. Lock up alcohol, cannabis and prescription medications, monitor quantities and safely dispose of anything unused. Small steps at home can make a meaningful difference.

Fact check: nearly all Bolton students are v**e-free. About 98% of Bolton students did not v**e ni****ne during the past month. Being ni****ne-free is the norm—not the exception. Parents, continue talking about the risks of ni****ne and watch for unfamiliar devices, unusual sweet scents or changes in behavior.
