Mercy International

Mercy International None of the billions in US aid has gone to rebuild homes for these people and crime has become a commonplace. The village is now complete with 63 homes.

Mercy International exists to love and serve the poorest of the poor in Haiti by meeting physical and spiritual needs through education, housing, healthcare, churches, feeding programs, and family support. Since the 2010 Haiti earthquake, one million people have been homeless living in the tent cities terrorized by tropical storms, hurricanes, disease, and r**e gangs. Fortunately a number of chris

tian organizations have started to fill the gap. Since the earthquake Mercy International has been working in communities in and around Port Au Prince creating better conditions for those displaced by the disaster. In a beautiful rural area outside of the city, we have started building a village for the homeless called Village of Thanks to God or Village de Merci au Dieu. But the need is still great. These precious families have a home, but they still need food, necessities, and most importantly, education. If you would like to donate to Mercy International please visit our website.

$25 a month for one year or $300 annually will allow a child to go to school.
$50 to $100 a month (depending on size of family) will feed a whole family for one month. How can you help? http://mercyintl.org/donate/

Shoutout to some of the pastors in our Mercy Church Network.

These men faithfully show up week after week in the lives of their communities — walking with people through both the best days and the hardest ones.
We’re deeply thankful for their commitment to preach the Gospel, love people well, and faithfully serve the communities God has entrusted to them.

Meet Therese.

Therese is 77 years old and faithfully serves as a yard cleaner at our school in Haiti.
At night, she helps care for and raise her 9-month-old granddaughter. Yet every morning, she insists on showing up to work because, in her words, it brings her joy.
Her strength, humility, and work ethic are truly unbelievable, and we are honored to have her as part of the Mercy family.
