Our two bottle babies have been adopted!
These two pups and their siblings were dumped at 1 week old and then landed at a high kill shelter. We took 2 of the babies on and with the help of the Firehouse we were able to provide them with all the care and training they deserved.
We spent countless hours driving, coordinating, training and updating you all on every step in their journey.
Everything they needed and more was provided to them.
It was truly a labor of love by our small MHR team, the Firehouse team, and those of you who supported these two babies along the way.
We want to give a huge thank you to Chief Selph for joining us in taking such a huge undertaking and to the handlers both at the Firehouse and at the Prison programs for the sleepless nights and all the work put into crate training, house breaking, and raising such perfect pups. These two babies are truly exceptional dogs and with their foundational obedience made the perfect pet dogs.
Everything we do wouldn’t be possible without you all. Thank you 🐾

The resemblance 🥹
Thank you all for supporting Mals House Rescue and our mission. It is because of people like you that we are able to save deserving lives, rehabilitate them and find them suitable homes.
For Claudine, I will never stop fighting for black dogs, for GSDs, for the dogs that were once discarded and unwanted.

One great way to get involved is by donating through our Amazon wishlists. 🐾
Our food shelves are currently low. Food, treats and supplies are going faster than ever. We currently are in need of dog food for the Prison Program.
Every dog, even if adopted before reaching the program, relies on the rescue for food, treats, supplies, and transport. Your support is greatly appreciated in helping us continue this program and the work that we do.
If you’re in the position to do so, please consider donating a bag of food via the Mals House Prison Program Wishlist. Every bag of food donated, helps support the pups receiving foundational obedience and being prepared for their forever homes by their handlers.

It’s raining puppies!
All of our adult dogs have been adopted! We just can’t believe it!
Now it’s the puppies turn!
Please share our puppies far and wide to help them find suitable forever homes!
All of our dogs go home medically cleared, vetted and with foundational obedience!
All these pups are in the medical clearance stage and will be hitting the Firehouse and Prison Training Programs soon! Get your apps in! They would all love forever homes waiting at the finish line!

Our dogs are in southern CA. Adopters can be anywhere in the U.S and Canada.
If you can’t adopt, consider donating via our Amazon wishlist. Food, treats and toys are going very quickly with the amount of dogs we have in the rescue. These are not the only dogs we have. The dogs who are already adopted and in training, still require continued care, food, treats, supplies and transport. We can’t do what we do without our community!
