Hospice Care of the Lowcountry, Lowcountry Palliative Care, Rays of Hope Behavioral Health & The Maggie Clark Volunteer Programs are now services of MiraSol Health. HCL is the largest non-profit hospice organization in Beaufort and Jasper County's, South Carolina. We are the only hospice organization in our area with a Palliative Home Health Care and Kids Path License. We are available 24 hours a

day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We never send a bill to a patient nor will we ever turn a patient away for lack of insurance.

A little fun goes a long way!

We recently brought a little friendly competition to The Retreat at Beaufort with a few rounds of everyone’s favorite — KerPlunk!

It was wonderful spending time with residents, sharing some laughs, and creating moments of connection through a simple game. At MiraSol Health, we believe Care That’s Real includes showing up, having fun, and making meaningful memories together.

We’re grateful to the Greater Bluffton Chamber of Commerce for helping us bring local businesses and community leaders together.

Caregiving can look like helping a parent manage medications, driving a loved one to appointments, picking up groceries, managing finances, or simply being there when someone needs emotional support.

You may not think of yourself as a “caregiver.” You may just think, I’m helping someone I love.

But that support matters. And so do you.

That’s why we’re kicking off our second annual Empowering Caregivers series, made possible by WAHHI, with an honest conversation about the realities of being a caregiver.

🐾Meet some of our four-legged care team!

Our Pet Therapy Program is made up of some pretty special volunteers—and they just happen to have four paws.

These furry members of the MiraSol Health team bring comfort, companionship and connection to our patients and families, offering a friendly face, a wagging tail and a little extra joy along the way.

Pet therapy is a beautiful reminder that care can take many forms. Sometimes, it looks like sitting quietly beside someone. Sometimes, it looks like a gentle nuzzle. And sometimes, it looks like a very happy dog walking through the door.

We’re grateful for every pet therapy volunteer and their humans who share their time, love and companionship with the people we serve.

Our four-legged care team may be small in size, but they make a big impact.
