We take in owner surrenders right here in CT, and also work closely with established partner shelters Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Louisiana to save the lives of loving and loyal dogs who have lost their way and find themselves on death row. Our team of wonderful volunteers get these adoptable dogs the medical and emotional care they need so they can transition into a loving forever home. To date we’ve placed over 8,000 dogs with new, forever families and we are so proud of the difference we are making in the world.

ADOPT BONDED PAIR CHARLEY & MARLEY!

Have you ever thought to yourself … you know what I want? I want to adopt a pair of two bonded crusty old chihuhuas! No? Yeah either had we…but then we got to meet Charley and Marley when their owner passed away.

You know the little old guy from UP or from down the street that yells at you to get off his lawn? That’s Charley. He’s got Tiny little crickety legs but has a passion for chasing chipmunks and laying in the sun like a prehistoric lizard not moving for hours. Don’t worry we always check to make sure he’s breathing.

Then there’s his never wavering sidekick Marley. Marley never got dentures so most of the time you look at him he looks like 😛. Marley definitely is the guy with a touch of dementia wandering the nursing home halls at a high speed. He randomly gets slow motion zoomies and will pummel his head into your chest like a tiny battering ram for pets at incredibly random times.

These boys are house trained with a possible occasional leak here and there (some of you can relate - we know) and they also enjoy cat friends. They will happily sit in your lap all day watching the Price is Right and waiting on Maury’s latest paternity tests. Oh and they come to you neutered so they are definitely not the father.

These boys truly will make you feel every ounce of love in the world. The best part? They are on a limited time buy one get one sale!

🧈 FEATURED DOG: BUTTERCREAM 🧈

This cutie pie has been overlooked for TOO LONG!!!! Buttercream is as sweet as her namesake! She’s silly, playful and so loving. She’s mastered her house and crate training, and is working hard on her leash skills. Events aren’t her favorite place to be, but at home, she really shines. She’s a wonderful pup, and we can’t wait for her forever family to find her!

4 pups remain in our Food Plant litter!

These cuties are on the shyer side so are easily overlooked at events but are soooo adorable. If you’re looking for a younger pup who is super dog friendly, please consider them!

We are so happy to share that 💖 Thea has been adopted! 💖

This happy, friendly and active border collie needed a very special family who could give her all the mental and physical activity that she needed. We worked hard to make sure she got what we needed and we are happy to report that her new mom and dad love her.

Special thank you to her fosters, our kennel team and Team Thea who advocated and supported her throughout her stay with us. Happy tails Thea!
