Blissfield Senior Center Bliss-Liewert is a gathering place for Seniors in Blissfield, Michigan area. Under age 60 cost is $4.00. We are located at 206 S.

We offer a variety of activities--movement, social, instruction/ information, and just plain FUN to adults 60 and above. We also offer delicious meals daily at 11:30 for a $3.00 suggested donation for those age 60 and above. Lane Street in Blissfield. Join us for great company, a great meal and find a new interest or renew an old one. Bliss-Liewert: where leisure becomes pleasure.

🚨 TRAINING EXERCISE IN BLISSFIELD – AUGUST 19 🚨

If you see an increased presence of emergency responders, emergency vehicles and activity around the railroad in Blissfield on Wednesday, August 19, there is no need for alarm.

Lenawee County Emergency Management, Norfolk Southern and local emergency response agencies will be conducting a planned Hazardous Materials Training Exercise throughout the day and into the evening.

🚒 Expect increased emergency responder activity
🚂 Training will take place on and around rail equipment
🕛 Exercises are scheduled from noon–4 PM and 6–10 PM
🚗 Normal traffic is expected and should not be impeded
✅ This is a training exercise, not an actual emergency

These realistic exercises help our local responders practice coordination, strengthen their skills and prepare for the unique challenges of a rail-related emergency.
