What might God do in our hearts as we seek Him together? 🙏

Yesterday, Gary preached from James 5:13–20 and challenged our church to 21 Days of Prayer. Join us as we surrender our hearts, seek God’s direction, and respond in obedience.

Find the prayer guide and watch Gary’s sermon here: www.fbcblanco.org/21-days-of-prayer

Let’s make time each day to seek Him—for our families, our church, and our community.

🇲🇽 Day 2 of our missions trip to Acuna, Mexico was just as impactful. Loving on people in a physical and tangible way not only blessed them, but blessed our team as well. Funny… that’s how God works. 😊

We spent some of our time painting with the residents of the shelter, Legado de Corazon. Many of our ladies helped fashion dozens of earrings for the gals to wear.

Food and treats were handed out in bunches to the hungry and hurting.

Lastly, the Word of God was preached once again by David Silva who taught in Spanish. If you scroll the photos to the very end, the last picture showcases the 14 people who stepped forward with a desire to follow Jesus Christ in baptism! ✝️

What a profound trip. Ready to go back again. Next time… WITH YOU! 🫵🏼

Wow! 🤯 What God can accomplish in one day is astounding!

Our missions team spent day 1 at a shelter in Acuna, Mexico which holds approximately 80 disabled people and 40 young women in their substance abuse rehabilitation program.

We sought out individuals for one-on-one conversations to know them on a name by name basis while building a relationship to bear one another’s burdens.
Shredded chicken sandwiches were served with many helping hands.
Monette and Morgan led some residents through “Fruit of the Spirit” BINGO.
Jill and Diana walked folks through a bracelet building craft that had different beads representing salvation and a pathway to God forever.
Ken screwed together five homemade benches to allow more seating in the shade.
Rogelio skillfully beat me on the chess board (best 2 out of 3).
Lalo, whose arm was broken and healed improperly, took steps toward Christ led by Mary Park.
David Silva preached a message showcasing how God has redeemed his life and catapulted him toward pointing others to Christ.
And the capstone y’all… singing worship songs in Spanish! This is a foretaste of Heaven, where different cultures will come together to worship the one, true God.

We are headed back to the shelter for day 2 shortly. Pray that God would change our lives forever and work through us to make Heaven more crowded.

Godspeed! -Pastor Adam

🎉 What a beautiful Sunday we have ahead!
This Sunday, we’ll have the incredible joy of celebrating four baptisms—and there’s something especially meaningful about this group: all four are retirees! ❤️
Their stories remind us that it’s never too late to take a step of faith, publicly declare your love for Jesus, and celebrate what God is doing in your life.
We’re honored to celebrate these four individuals and the faith, wisdom, and life experience they bring to our church family. What a testimony to God’s grace at every stage of life!
Come celebrate with us this Sunday as we cheer them on and rejoice in these beautiful expressions of faith! 🙌💧

🎉 Celebration time y'all! 🎉
Today marks the four-year staff anniversary of Stephanie Hudson putting her skills on display for the glory of the Lord. She is wise beyond her years and a brave, forward thinker. And at the end of the day, y'all got to hear how she loves your kids and deeply desires them to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Drop a comment below to pump some fuel into her spiritual gas tank! -Pastor Adam
