The All Purpose Center is preparing for our Fall Harvest Festival on October 24th!

We’re bringing together youth, families, and community members for an evening of fun, connection, food, games, and activities.

We’re also currently seeking community partners and businesses interested in supporting the event through:

These workshops are designed to give youth a supportive space to build confidence, strengthen communication, understand emotions, develop healthy coping skills, and grow into who they are.

The All Purpose Center is currently seeking Male Youth Coordinators to join our team.

We’re looking for positive, dependable men who want to help young people:

🤝 Build healthy relationships
🌟 Develop confidence and leadership
📚 Stay engaged academically
🧠 Strengthen social-emotional skills
💬 Improve communication and decision-making
🚀 See new possibilities for their future

Sometimes a young person simply needs another positive adult in their corner.

One simple way to support your child this week: ask better questions. 💛

Instead of only asking, “How was school?” try:

“What was the best part of your day?”
“What was hard today?”
“Did you need help with anything?”
“What are you looking forward to tomorrow?”

Sometimes a different question opens the door to a real conversation.

Try asking something different tonight:

🌟 What was the best part of your day?
🤔 What felt difficult?
😊 Who made you feel supported?
📚 What did you learn?
💭 Is there anything you need help with tomorrow?

Small conversations can open the door to bigger ones.

At The All Purpose Center, we believe youth need safe spaces both in and outside of school where they feel heard, supported, and encouraged.
