Jackson County Farm Bureau The Jackson County Farm Bureau Federation’s Young Farmer and Agriculturist (YFA) program is for members between the ages of 18 and 35 years old.

The YFA program offers opportunities for leadership and skills development, along with the chance for YFA members to meet and network with their peers.

The Jackson County Farm Bureau has always been great supporter of the animal exhibitors at the Jackson County Fair. This year we are sponsoring TEN - $100.00 grants to youth to help improve their projects.
The grant is open to any junior fair exhibitor that is enrolled in the following projects: Dairy, Swine, Beef, Goat, Sheep, Equine, Poultry or other agricultural related project. The grant may be used to purchase feed, animals, or equipment needed for the project.
All applications must be submitted by closing time on Sunday, August 2, 2026 to Nathan Kling or Luke Trapp.

Leadership Institute is Wisconsin Farm Bureau's premier leadership training course. The year-long program equips Farm Bureau members with the skills, confidence and connections to lead boldly in their farms, businesses and communities.

New in 2027! Institute applicants are invited to apply for the Mike & Shirley Duerst Institute Scholarship to cover participation fees.
