From the early morning tee-offs and friendly competition to the smiles, celebrations, and unforgettable hole-in-one, Justin perfectly documented a truly incredible day.

🐈 This adorable kitten is Sonny 🐈 He is 10-weeks-old and weighs 2.2 lb. He has a soft medium-length light orange coat. Sonny was found in a drain pipe, rescued and then raised in a loving foster home. Sonny is super cute and very friendly. He loves to play with toys and is both snuggly and active--everything you want in a kitten! Sonny is microchipped, vaccinated for age and healthy. He is litterbox trained. His adoption fee is $265 (includes neuter surgery). This pretty girl is Xena and she is our Dog of the Month for June. If you adopt Xena this month, her adoption fee will be 25% reduced! Xena is a one-year-old terrier mix and weighs 39 lb. Xena is a very sweet, calm, gentle girl. She walks nicely on a leash and loves to go on outdoor adventures. She also rides great in the car! Xena is friendly with other dogs and enjoys playing in the yard. And she is fine with cats too! Xena is going to make someone a very enjoyable companion. 🐕 This adorable boy is Dover 🐕 He is one-year-old and weighs 25 lb. He has a scruffy coat so we suspect he is some kind of terrier mix. Dover is a total lovebug! He is incredibly sweet and cares more about affection and praise than treats. Dover will climb in your lap for snuggles and once in your lap, he is very calm and soaks it all in. A great dog to cuddle with on a rainy day! Dover also likes to go on walks and spend time outside. He is such a people-oriented dog that he will make a great family pet or emotional support companion. Dover is good with other dogs and we expect will be fine with children of all ages. We don't know what Dover thinks of cats but can cat-test him if needed. Dover is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and healthy. His adoption fee is $440. Happy Tail Alert! ❤️🐾

When Peter and Beth adopted Nyla (formerly Nina) from DAWS in February, they knew she was destined to be more than a beloved family companion.

Over the past three months, they have dedicated countless hours to training, and we're thrilled to share that Nyla is now a certified therapy dog with Hartford Hospital-visiting patients, bringing comfort, companionship, and a little extra love to those who need it most. What an incredible journey for a dog who once waited for her second chance.

Stories like Nyla's remind us that adoption changes lives in ways we could never imagine. From shelter dog to therapy dog, her future is already making a difference.

Congratulations to Nyla, Peter, and Beth on this remarkable achievement. We are so grateful to be a small part of this inspiring Happy Tail ❤️
