Sean graduated high school yesterday! But before that we made at quick stop to one of the Bethel Park schools that closed its doors yesterday- the Neil Armstrong Middle School. This building will be forever part of Sean’s life. This is the building where he transitioned after cancer treatment. This where he rebuilt his life. Walking down the memory lane, it was very tough time. Imagine prior to transitioning into this building he was an independent kid that didn’t need any support. Suddenly after cancer things flip hard and he has to rely to someone for support. It was a huge adjustment. We’re talking about a kid who didn’t even want to go back to school and just want to enjoy life while battling cancer. But nobody gave up on this child, and he was guided to the path where he should be. In addition, Smiles from Sean was also born in this building. Sean was a student there when we established the SFS. Our very first coin drive that is now impacting so many lives started there. Legacy was made in this building. And with that NAMS will forever has a room in our hearts.
