On this , we are so grateful for our neighbors in Berwyn, Devon, and the many individuals beyond these communities who generously stepped forward to help us meet the increased need.

Because of the remarkable level of donations we received, we were able to open two additional Saturdays in November while SNAP benefits were frozen. These contributions enabled us to provide a variety of poultry options for Thanksgiving as well as the ingredients needed for traditional side dishes.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who enters our doors—as shoppers, volunteers, or donors of food and funds—for the vital role you play in our community. We are particularly appreciative of those named in the image who hosted food drives or supplied holiday items for Caring Cupboard.

We have some extra produce that we would hate to see go to waste.

As we work to get the word out, we are going to have times when there is left over food that cannot be stored for the next distribution. So we need your help! This weekend, there are extra peaches, avocados, pineapple, squash, broccoli and cucumber.

Would you be willing to fill a bag for your household and make a donation to the Caring Cupboard today? We will pull all of the perishable items out in the fellowship hall from 11am through 2:30pm for anyone who might be interested. So take what you need, or tell a neighbor who might be able to use some of these items, and help us get the word out for our next distribution on Saturday, July 26th.

Together, we can make a dent in food insecurity in Chester County!
