*BLAST Robotics Explores Collaboration Opportunities with Penn State Great Valley and LaunchBox*
Malvern, PA — BLAST Robotics (FRC Team 10989), a program of Keystone STEM Alliance Inc., recently visited Penn State Great Valley to discuss potential partnerships aimed at expanding opportunities for youth innovation, entrepreneurship, and workforce development.
During the visit, BLAST Robotics students toured facilities, learned about available resources, and engaged in discussions with Penn State Great Valley and LaunchBox leadership regarding future collaboration opportunities. Students were inspired by the university’s commitment to innovation and the entrepreneurial ecosystem supported through the Great Valley LaunchBox.
Several promising areas of collaboration were identified, including:
• Access to workshop facilities to support robotics fabrication and engineering projects
• Access to the Media Lab to help students develop podcasting, storytelling, and digital media skills
• Partnership opportunities to launch a Teen Entrepreneurship Program that introduces students to innovation, business creation, and startup fundamentals
• Access to Great Valley LaunchBox resources, mentorship, and entrepreneurial support for students interested in transforming ideas into real-world ventures
“These opportunities align closely with our mission of preparing the next generation of innovators, engineers, entrepreneurs, and community leaders,” said Hari Ponugoti, Coach of BLAST Robotics and Director of Keystone STEM Alliance Inc. “We are excited about the potential impact this collaboration could have on students throughout our region.”
BLAST Robotics and Penn State Great Valley plan to continue discussions and explore specific next steps to bring these initiatives to life, creating meaningful pathways for students to develop technical, entrepreneurial, and leadership skills.
