*BLAST Robotics Explores Collaboration Opportunities with Penn State Great Valley and LaunchBox*

Malvern, PA — BLAST Robotics (FRC Team 10989), a program of Keystone STEM Alliance Inc., recently visited Penn State Great Valley to discuss potential partnerships aimed at expanding opportunities for youth innovation, entrepreneurship, and workforce development.

During the visit, BLAST Robotics students toured facilities, learned about available resources, and engaged in discussions with Penn State Great Valley and LaunchBox leadership regarding future collaboration opportunities. Students were inspired by the university’s commitment to innovation and the entrepreneurial ecosystem supported through the Great Valley LaunchBox.

Several promising areas of collaboration were identified, including:

• Access to workshop facilities to support robotics fabrication and engineering projects

• Access to the Media Lab to help students develop podcasting, storytelling, and digital media skills

• Partnership opportunities to launch a Teen Entrepreneurship Program that introduces students to innovation, business creation, and startup fundamentals

• Access to Great Valley LaunchBox resources, mentorship, and entrepreneurial support for students interested in transforming ideas into real-world ventures

“These opportunities align closely with our mission of preparing the next generation of innovators, engineers, entrepreneurs, and community leaders,” said Hari Ponugoti, Coach of BLAST Robotics and Director of Keystone STEM Alliance Inc. “We are excited about the potential impact this collaboration could have on students throughout our region.”

BLAST Robotics and Penn State Great Valley plan to continue discussions and explore specific next steps to bring these initiatives to life, creating meaningful pathways for students to develop technical, entrepreneurial, and leadership skills.

🚁🤖 BLAST Robotics at STEMFest 2026! 🤖🚁

Today, Team 10989 BLAST Robotics proudly participated as an exhibitor at the STEMFest hosted by American Helicopter Museum & Education Center in West Chester, PA.

Our students had an incredible opportunity to engage with hundreds of visitors ranging from elementary school students to high school students, parents, educators, volunteers, and STEM enthusiasts. Through live demonstrations and conversations, we shared how robotics, engineering, programming, and teamwork are empowering the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.

Beyond outreach, the event opened doors for exciting future collaborations. Our team connected with representatives from American Society of Mechanical Engineers and other engineering professionals to explore partnership opportunities that can further expand STEM learning, mentorship, and workforce development pathways for students.

At BLAST Robotics, we believe that every interaction has the potential to ignite curiosity, inspire confidence, and create future leaders in science and technology.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, asked questions, shared ideas, and supported STEM education. The future is bright, and today’s conversations are tomorrow’s innovations.

More Than Robots. 🤖 More Than Technology. Building Human Connections Across Generations.

BLAST Robotics and Keystone STEM Alliance were honored to join the Paoli–Berwyn–Malvern Lions Club in celebrating their remarkable 85th Anniversary during the community Ice Cream Social at the Royer-Greaves School for Blind.

Many people assume robotics has little connection to senior citizens or community service.
But for us, robotics is not just about machines, coding, or competitions.

It is about building compassionate leaders, strengthening communities, and teaching students the importance of service beyond themselves.

Our students had the opportunity to engage with community members, support volunteers, learn about the Lions Club’s incredible impact, and better understand the importance of organizations that have quietly served generations through initiatives like vision care, eyeglass recycling, and humanitarian outreach.

These experiences matter.

They help students develop empathy, communication, leadership, and a deeper understanding that technology should ultimately serve humanity.

We are grateful to the Paoli–Berwyn–Malvern Lions Club for welcoming our students and allowing us to be part of this meaningful celebration of service and community impact.

This is what “More Than Robots” truly means.

🚀 Outreach Spotlight: Community Partnership with Upper Main Line Rotary Club, Paoli

On April 22, 2026, our BLAST Robotics team—Vivaan, Virat, Anabel, Mayon, and CV—had the opportunity to present at the Upper Main Line Rotary meeting at Waynesborough Country Club, Paoli.

With guidance from Stacey Ballard, the team shared our mission: Ignite. Inspire. Impact.
We highlighted our journey, rapid growth, and recent recognition—most notably the Rookie All-Star Award at the FIRST Mid-Atlantic Centennial Robotics Competition.

What stood out wasn’t just what we’ve done—but what’s next:

🔹 Global STEM Outreach – Exploring collaboration opportunities in Rwanda to expand access to STEM education
🔹 Community Engagement – Supporting Rotary-led events with student volunteers
🔹 Leadership Development – Launching a Fall initiative integrating Rotary, Scouting America NYLT, and our robotics program

This engagement strengthened our community partnerships and opened pathways for both local impact and global STEM outreach.

We’re grateful to Upper Main Line Rotary for the platform and continued support in shaping the next generation of innovators.
