πŸ‘πŸŒΎ Learning Beyond the Classroom at Clermont Farm! πŸŒΎπŸ‘

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Johnson-Williams Middle School 8th Grade AG class to Clermont Farm for a hands-on lesson all about sheep and livestock farming!

Students had the opportunity to learn from our Farm Manager, Jack Kahler, and local farmer and Clermont Foundation Board Member, Lisa Murphy, who shared their knowledge and experience caring for sheep and managing a working farm. From animal husbandry and flock management to the important role sheep play in agriculture, students gained valuable real-world insight into the farming practices that help sustain our communities.

We love providing opportunities for students to connect with agriculture, ask questions, and experience firsthand the work that goes into caring for animals and stewarding the land.

A big thank you to Jack and Lisa for sharing their expertise and helping inspire the next generation of agricultural leaders! πŸ’š
