Happy Valley Dog Rescue UPDATE : OCTOBER 19...wow as usual alot going on at the rescue. Ice on my windshield this morning .first frost. But winter is not my favorite season .so many dog houses will have heat lamps. Water freezes over .must feed and water in the cold. What fun ! But the positives are good...no snakes.no mosquitos. No 100 degree temps. No ticks. Very few fleas.and water stays fresh with no algae .not a bad trade off really........so jolene has left the building. Only older people can identify with that phrase. Lol she is in deleware on the east coast. She told susan get me out of this fricken area.lol but actually susan's place in branson is very nice. Thanks susan for the great care you give .we all appreciate you!.........so ullr pronounced yewell is doing well. He had surgery to remove cancer from his face a few weeks ago. Rescued from boone county .he can't hear very well so not sure he knows his name. I hug on him and kiss his face. He is precious. But doesnt seem to want any friends.not aggressive but not thrilled with other dogs. He will be the 1st to get his heat lamp. We are going to use updated heat lamps that are almost fire resistant 36$ each .kind of expensive but will buy a few at a time as the fall season goes along.......mama and her 3 pups from boone county are doing well. One pup pulled the tarp down and had it tangled around his ankle.it was so tight I had to take a knife and cut it .took 10 minutes. Foot was swollen from no circulation but was back normal the next day.thats why I make the rounds looking for any problems........well Noel from bismark Arkansas got adopted . my friend Sharon Stienstra Tantanella out side eureka springs adopted her. Talking about a great place to go. Wow Noel hit the jackpot !! Thanks sharon.......stevie is still missing .running radio ads. Nothing yet. Getting ready for new signs and putting them farther out of the area. Talking with phoebe psychic medium every week or two. Last time she could see him around trailers where other dogs were. He is being fed..will keep you updated..prayers are are always welcome too. Would appreciate that.......the silver tea Dec 3 will be at the Crescent ball room. People donate at the door. Fancy smancy.lol all proceeds gp to Happy Valley Dog Rescue. We received the most votes at st.james episcopal church to receive this honor a tradition. Very grateful...the silver tea is given each year to a non profit to benefit their cause. Hope everyone attends and donates .would appreciate! Well i think that's it .thanks for all the support! And please donate to all these wonderful rescues we have done. .....PayPal use [email protected] venmo use Kenneth-Garner-10 or cash app use $1rescu

Wow! Summer is in full swing . Tonight's low temp will be 77 degrees. But really it's the humidity not temp that makes it rough....
At Happy Valley Dog Rescue we are out early 600am working and after 600pm working. Late evening doesnt seem much cooler but when sun goes down its better. Happy Valley is surrounded by hills and sun is blocked about 500pm. Stay cool, dont over do it. We keep an ice chest full of ice all day long. Water, gator ade and unsweetened tea. They say dont give ice water to dogs but mine love it and love chomping on ice lol. Have a nice thursday!
