The South Jersey Breast Cancer Coalition Team is proud to host their 2nd Annual Heart in the Park Walk on Sunday, May 3 2026.

This meaningful event helps support breast cancer education, awareness, and advocacy through personalized events and campaigns led by dedicated volunteer advocates. Funds raised also help support major hospital research initiatives, improve access to care, and protect the laws and resources that benefit breast cancer patients.

All proceeds of this event will benefit the South Jersey Breast Cancer Coalition. Remember that all donations are 100% tax deductible. SJBCC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Did you know that if you’re a New Jersey breast, cancer survivor, male or female the South Jersey breast cancer coalition has the Carolyn J Ochs Client Assistance Fund to help with essential bills while going through treatment?
You can read more about the fund on our website at www.southjerseybcc.org. Funds are used for things like rent, mortgage, utility bills, car payments, and food. You must provide proof of your breast cancer diagnosis, the fund is breast cancer specific for New Jersey residents. You can call our office at 856-768-9028. Leave your name and number and someone will return your call and speak to you about the fund.

January 6, 2006 we lost one of our best breast advocates and my best friend. Carolyn J. Ochs. It’s hard to believe it’s been 20 years. In my mind, I can still see us all laughing on the Cape May for girl’s weekend, marching down the halls of Congress in DC or just talking on the phone.
