The Ketovers went to Kensington Soccer Club - Community Advancement Through Soccer today to deliver our donation of NINETY-SIX PAIRS of new and gently used cleats.

We got treated to a tour of the new headquarters and visited a practice.

We are honored to be able to partner with this tremendous community-based organization. KSC does so much good in Kensington. Yes it provides soccer training through rec and travel levels from early elementary school through high school. But it does so much more. KSC also offers tutoring, DEI education, and girl empowerment programming.

It provides a safe and nurturing environment to so many children and families.

If you have cleats to donate, please think of us, as we plan to work with KSC for a long time.

79 pairs of cleats are sitting in our garage waiting to be delivered to soccer players for their fall season. As you can see, these cleats are in great condition. Many are new and were purchased with generous donations.

We’d love to get to 100 pairs. Can you help? We know from experience that kids’ feet grow fast!

As you are preparing for the school year and the fall soccer season, if your kids have outgrown their cleats and they’re in reasonably good condition, please think of us.

Best foot forward is gearing up again for our next big donation. So far, we’ve collected 71 pairs of new and gently used soccer cleats. We will be collecting more cleats for the rest of the summer and intend to deliver the cleats to a club in the area (TBD) in the fall before soccer season.

Have your kids grown out of their cleats? Please consider contributing to our collection. Last year we donated more than 250 pairs of cleats to two different grateful clubs.

It's the season of giving, so I'm asking, on behalf of Best Foot Forward, that you consider donating new and gently used cleats to us for kids to use during their spring season of soccer.

My sister and I started Best Foot Forward in spring of 2021, following a delay because of Covid. We were thrilled to have gathered 255 pairs of new and used cleats to donate to two local soccer clubs.

And we are not stopping! We are collecting now for spring 2022. Please DM or comment if you have cleats to donate, and we will arrange for pick up or delivery.

As fall soccer winds down, please remember Best Foot Forward. If your kids have outgrown their cleats, please consider donating them so we can pass them along to local kids who may need them in order to play. If we can get enough contributions, we will be able to donate to clubs twice yearly.
