Former Hardin High School Basketball player from 1951 -1953 recounts some local history and things you may not have expected during that era. Personally, I found his stories intriguing and humorous. We don't want generations to miss out on these great stories and that's why we provide them on our website, Facebook and YouTube so we can continue to preserve a little of Western Kentucky High School Basketball history. (Interviewed by our own Ed Jones!)

Do you love basketball? Do you love basketball history? What about local history in the 13 western counties of Kentucky? We have articles dating back to the mid 1920's as well as local coaches, refs, historians, players and more telling their story about their love for basketball. Join the team who want to share cherished basketball history with other like-minded viewers. Help spread the word! We can't spill the beans just yet, but we are hoping to create a historical museum in the heart of Benton that can serve this area as a heritage museum for everything basketball in Western Kentucky. If you know of someone that could share a great story on camera, let us know! Contact Ed Jones on how you can help preserve basketball history in Western Kentucky.
