Tonight, Tina and Lorrie had the opportunity to present a $1,000 donation to the Cass County Sheriff's Auxiliary from the Troy Shaw Memorial Golf Tournament proceeds.
Lorrie also shared that Belton CARES would welcome the opportunity to have the Auxiliary return as a billboard partner, should their budget allow.
Sandy mentioned the Town Hall meeting scheduled for Monday evening.

📢 Belton CARES Town Hall – November 2nd - 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us for an evening of community conversation, education, and resources focused on keeping our community safe and healthy!

Hear from a panel of local and regional professionals, including a DEA Agent, School Resource Officer (SRO), Assistant Police Chief, Cass County Health Department, Compass Health, and First Call.

📍 Location: High Blue Wellness, Belton, MO
📅 Date: November 2nd

Event Schedule:

- 6:00–6:30 PM: Community Vendor Fair
- 6:30–7:00 PM: Pizza and recognition of our student art contest winners
- 7:00–9:00 PM: Presentations from our guest speakers

This is a great opportunity to connect with local resources, learn from community professionals, celebrate our talented students, and engage in important conversations about the well-being of our community.

Don’t forget National Night Out this Tuesday from 4pm to 7pm at Price Chopper. This year, we will have child safety seat technicians on hand to inspect your child seat / carrier and ensure it is installed correctly.
