Our performance show is done for the day!

We finished our day of LARGE classes in record time, wrapping up by 2:30 PM.

Thank you to our performance judge Duke Williams and all of our wonderful volunteers for helping it flow so smoothly!

We are about to start the last class of ranch trail/stock horse pleasure and will be moving into stock horse showmanship shortly.

It’s not gonna rain on our parade, LOL. Well, maybe a little bit…
For anyone hauling to our horse show today, please know that you are welcome to arrive as early as you need to this morning.
So far the rain has been moderate and steady in central Texas with no ‘storm ‘ conditions.
C’mon over, now that it’s daylight.
We have assistance available upon your arrival to help you load in, get shavings to your stalls, etc.
Drive safely, avoid low water crossings, and we will see you soon!

Here at CAQHA, we have two goals: one, to put on great horse shows, and two, to support our local horse community.

Well, we checked off the first box with yet another fantastic Beat the Heat horse show in May, and thanks to the support of our sponsors and exhibitors, we are ready to check off the second with our latest project: the CAQHA Flood Recovery Grant.

We know that many of our members and their families, friends, and fellow horse people were impacted by the deadly July floods throughout Texas. As part of our mission to support the local horse community, we are offering this grant opportunity to individuals and organizations who were affected.

The grant is open to those who were affected directly as well as those who supported rescue and recovery efforts in the aftermath of the disasters.
