⚠️ Community Notice ⚠️

Residents may notice smoke odors and hazy conditions throughout Bellmawr this morning. This is due to a large scrap pile fire currently burning in Camden City.

Air quality conditions are being continuously monitored, and at this time there are no negative readings or impacts that would pose a quality-of-life concern to our community.

There is currently no threat to residents and no need for concern. We simply wanted to make residents aware of the source of the smoke and odor conditions being experienced throughout town.

The Bellmawr Office of Emergency Management will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates if conditions change.

Today is about Them not Us. Today we had the humbling pleasure of honoring our brothers and sisters who came before us and gave the ultimate sacrifice. We will never forget.

We refused to allow the weather to stop us from honoring the brave men and women who lost their lives while protecting ours.

On Monday 5/18 Members of Post 9563 had the special privilege of participating in the Annual flagging at St Mary’s Cemetery. Every year 8th graders at Bell Oaks, key community members and Fellow Veterans replace needed American flags and grave markers for our fallen service men and women. It was an honor and a privilege to be part of this observance along with Mayor Chuck Sauter.

In honor of all Veterans who gave the ultimate sacrifice- We Remember. All Gave Some, Some Gave All. Thank you for your service. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
