We had another fabulous meeting last night with 36 in attendance, including one guest! We had an incredible array of pot luck foods, Grab Bags were prepared for our upcoming Parking Lot Sale on June 20, we enjoyed an interesting Show & Tell, and ended the night with Door Prize drawings! Thank you Roberto Chavez for this video montage!

Hello fellow Delvers,
As some may have heard the club is having a field trip for the day to the Early Man Site just outside of Yermo, Calif. The trip will be on the 18th of April Saturday and we all will be meeting at Eddie World at 8:30 am and departing at 9:00am sharp. Take the 15 Fwy north going through Barstow and continue north approx 15 more miles . The address for Eddie World is 36017 Calico road, Yermo, CA 92398. Once we leave we will head north on the 15 fwy to Minneola road and exit and it is a short ride on a good dirt road and all are welcome to attend. There is a broad range of material to be found, different color agates, palm agate and selenite . So please be on time as the old saying goes don’t be late I won’t wait. Hope to see ya there. Any questions please reach out.

Your Prez,
Marvin Belcher

Delvers Gem & Mineral Society had a terrific field trip January 10 to Acton for agates, and Tick Canyon for howlite. 21 members and friends, plus a baby, joined in on the fun! We had bright sunny weather, starting the day at 43°, a high of 53°, with gusty to strong winds making it feel much colder!
