The Belleville Rotary Club is a service organization comprised of individuals who are dedicated to “Service above self”. We work together to encourage and foster the advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons

We want to extend our sincere appreciation to all of our major sponsors, Hole-in-One sponsors, and the incredible teams joining us for our annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser at Links at Gateway Golf Course in Romulus on Thursday, June 4th.

Your generosity, partnership, and participation make this event possible...and more importantly, make a real difference throughout our local communities.

Congratulations to all scholarship winners! 🥳

It was a marvelous night to celebrate the achievements of such stellar students. Every award was well deserved and as a community, it is our absolute pleasure to provide what support we can as you enter into this next, exciting stage of life.

A special thanks as well to our delightfully engaging guest speaker, Kevin McNamara, the Van Buren Charter Township Supervisor, for kicking the night off!

She is the founder and owner of Sisu Health in downtown Belleville where she works as a pelvic physical therapist, treating anyone and everyone who is experiencing pain or discomfort in the pelvic region. We had quite the night this past Tuesday as many members of our community came together for an evening of recognition and service.

Last year, the Rotary Club of Belleville donated to the Educate Ghana project, a donation matched by Rotary International for a total of $5,000. This money was used to rennovate the Assin Kyinaso D/A Basic school as well as furnish and supply the classrooms. Among these classrooms, five of them host plaques honoring five Belleville Rotarians for their outstanding dedication and meaningful service to not only Rotary but to our community as a whole. Thank you, Joyce Rochowiak, David Brown, Ray Eissinger, Keith and Ginger Bruder, and Dr. John MacDermid, for your exemplary service!

We were also joined by Cozadd Grant recipients Major Wood from the Salvation Army, Chief Goode from the Sumpter Fire Department, and Nicole Tomaszewski from Guiding Harbor. They each presented on how they put the grant money to use; preventing homelessness for 13 families within our community, purchasing a LUCAS Chest Compression System to broaden response capabilities of first responders, and purchasing three Endurance Beds for their Girlstown Residential foster care home.

And last but certainly not least, Rachel Kozlowski was honored with the Paul Harris Fellows Award for her generosity to the Rotary Foundation and her commitment to Rotary.
