Thanks to all who came out to enjoy the Memorial Day service at the Advent Church. We are grateful for the time spent together honoring and remembering the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Your presence helped make the day meaningful and memorable for our community. And we appreciated all the wonderful goodies brought to share.

Good morning and happy Memorial Day! It’s a cool and cloudy morning up on the mountain. Please join us this morning at 10:00 a.m. for our first Music at the Advent program of the season, a patriotic hymn sing to honor those who lost their lives while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. The Advent Church is located at 1303 Moose Run Road. We look forward to welcoming you this morning!

Happy Friday! If you are still thinking about your Memorial Day plans, please come join us on the mountain on Monday morning at 10 a.m. for a patriotic hymn sing at the Advent Church.

Following the Memorial Day program at the Advent Cemetery at 9 a.m., we will gather in the church for a time of music and remembrance, followed by refreshments provided by members and friends. Our museum will be open to visitors as well. The event is free and will be held rain or shine. We hope to see you there!
