Our vans don't look quite like this but at least we got your attention. This is a shout-out for volunteer drivers. We are always wanting to add to our cherished volunteer list. You pick your days to drive and we only ask that you drive a couple of times per month.

HELP NEEDED!

Schedulers are a vital part of our service in prioritizing the appointment needs of our fellow Bella Vistans. This is a great work from home opportunity. Requiring just several hours 2 - 3 days a month, some schedulers are able to fit scheduling into their current work or multi-activity schedule.

This service is offered to Bella Vista Residents ONLY.Requests are made by calling our Office Number 479-855-7663 and leaving a message at least 48 hours and up to 2 months before service is requested. Your appointment will then be confirmed by one of our friendly schedulers within 48 hours.

The Courtesy Van will not be operational Monday, January 26. The side roads are too hazardous for our drivers but mostly for our cherished riders.

Special thanks to the Bella Vista 18 Hole Women's Golf Club for their $1000 donation. Mark Brightwell, President, accepts the check from Golf Club members Stephanie Kappel and Laurie Schoenbaum.

Stephanie is a Courtesy Van Scheduler and Laurie is a Driver. Their commitment to the Courtesy Van is so appreciated. Thank you to them and to all the 18 Hole Golf Club members.

Yesterday (6th), we celebrated our volunteers with an appreciation breakfast. Service awards were given and door prizes brought smiles. But the highlight of the event was hearing from the daughter of one of our riders. She brought many to tears with her grateful story.

Sometimes we don’t think about the ripple effect volunteering has on families. Thank you, Debi, for trusting us with your sweet Mom. And, thank you for reminding us how important our work is providing a service to others.
