Benton County Empty Bowls Raising Funds To Combat Hunger We are a 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization raising funds to combat hunger in NW Arkansas. All bowls are hand crafted and created by local potters.

We accomplish this by making hand crafted ceramic bowls and selling them. They are dishwasher and oven proof. This organization is completely run by volunteers, no one receives a salary. We would like your help in raising funds to pay for our material costs, clay and glazes, etc. We are going to make at least 1,000 bowls this year toward our effort to raise more than $20,000 that will go toward pr

oviding meals for those in need. By raising $2,000 in this fund raiser, we will be able to cover the material costs for those 1,000 bowls.

I can no longer devote any time to running the Bentoncounty Emptybowls web site. I f no-one steps up and volunteers to run it by October 21st, I will be shutting it down.

Thank you everyone, that bought one of our awesome bowls today at our Ice Cream Event. Also, thanks to all that helped in making our event a success, we ended up today with $1,499 in total sales plus $10 in cash donations. We sold 1 T-shirt, 14 regular soup bowls and 55 ice cream bowls, along with 7 separate ice cream servings.
A big thank you to Crazy Willy's Ice Cream for donating their time and 70 servings of their fabulous ice cream.

At the Farmers Market today, Bentoncounty Emptybowls had $385 in sales and $16 in donations, a good day that will provide around 3,000 meal's when passed on to food banks. 🥣🤠
