Are you team spooky 👻 or team sports 🏟️?

Fall is right around the corner! 🍂 Even though it’s going to stay hot in Austin for months 🥵 we can still celebrate the season with two fall staples: pumpkins 🎃 and footballs 🏈

🤡Deke Cameron Deke Cameron is teaching two workshops in September where you can hand-make a stained glass suncatcher in the design of your choice: 🎃or 🏈

🧑‍🏭Everyone loves fall decorations you made yourself, and Deke makes it easy! 👌So easy you can enjoy a drink from Austin Beerworks Sprinkle Valley or Meanwhile Brewing Company during the class 🍻

August’s session is strong! 💪 Whether this is your first time or your fiftieth, we can all practice together 🤝 Holly has led our figure drawing sessions for years 👩‍🏫 Amy’s photos can be seen here and on her page with flash tattoo inspired by this session (featuring model Shorna Haque ) 😍And this month’s model Alison is a Contracommon artist who is known to model and pose across Austin 🌇This is guaranteed to be a good one 🔥

📅Since January, Contracommon member Forrest Aderholt / Forrest Aderholt has been hosting monthly critique groups in preparation for this show 🧐 At each meeting, participating artists created unique works and supported each other with feedback. 🗣️

🖼️This exhibition will feature a diverse range of mediums and perspectives, with works made possible by group discussions. 👥Celebrate the artistic process and join us at the opening reception!

With over a decade of experience in both photography printing and arts education, Chelsea Wyld is ready to help you develop your film developing skills! 👩‍🏫

Students should bring a roll of film captured themselves 🎞️ All other materials provided, including C-41 developer 🧪Watch your images appear and get them ready to scan or print! ✨
