North Austin or South Austin, everybody loves emojis! Two of them in particular 🍆🍑 At Sip + Solder you can enjoy a beverage while teaches you the basics of stained glass - no experience necessary! 🤡

Each student gets to make a stained glass suncatcher of their choice:

Bringing something 🆕 to North Loop
Contracommon is proud to host a series of Figure Drawing sessions this year .atx ! 💃🏻This venue brings new life to one of our longest-running events, and we’re excited for the change! ✨
As always, the host will gently guide you through a series of short gestures from our figure model, followed by one long pose. 🧑‍🎨Improve your practice, or try something new! Anyone at any skill level is welcome to participate. 🤗All you need are the art supplies you want to use for the day, drawing or otherwise. 🎨

More like GLASS breaking! 🔨 has one more Sip + Solder workshop this May and you guessed the theme 🌸 learn to make a stained glass flower then fix it to a metal garden stake.🪴Place it in a yard or potted plant and enjoy all the satisfaction of telling people you made it yourself 💁

You might as well visit Contracommon while you’re here 💁🏻‍♀️ we’re extending our usual gallery hours so you can come by any time during the event:

There will be lots of attendees! Ride with your friends so you can park together. You’ll save time and have good conversation on your way here. 👯

This will be the last weekend to view the Secret Garden exhibition 💐 gallery hours are free and open to the public! An installation by will be on view in Studio 16. 🪷 If you couldn’t make it to the event (or want to relive it) this is your chance. 🥳

And to bring all the fun of Pecan Street vending into our space, we will have a selection of items made by our studio members for sale in the gallery. 🎨🛍️
