We support public education, responsible development, and embracing and including everyone in our community. LT Voices for Progress has implemented a few basic rules for posting so that we can maintain an orderly and effective page:
1) The purpose of LTVP's Facebook is to share our organization's mission, activities, and accomplishments in a positive manner. While we recognize that some days are emotionally tougher than others, we strongly encourage posts of substance and actionable information.
2) Any links to articles, web pages, fundraisers, outside groups, etc. must directly pertain to issues in LTVP geographic areas (Lake Travis, Hudson Bend, Bee Cave, Lakeway, Steiner Ranch, Apache Shores, Cuernavaca, etc.). These links will be reviewed by an Admin and approved on a case-by-case basis. Anything "outside" may still be posted by the Board if they feel the information is particularly relevant to the general membership.
3) No rants of any kind, either as individual posts or as comments on posts. As representatives of LTVP, members are expected to conduct themselves with decorum and respect at all times. We will not entertain arguments with any individual or group. We will not use profanity, and we will not attack people or organizations.
