The Beaver County Chamber of Commerce

The Beaver County Chamber of Commerce joins our region in mourning the passing of Donnie Iris—born Dominic Ierace—a true Western Pennsylvania icon and a treasured part of Beaver County’s story.

Through his work with The Jaggerz, Wild Cherry, and Donnie Iris and the Cruisers, Donnie helped put Beaver County on the map and carried the spirit and pride of our region to audiences across the country.

Beyond his remarkable music career, Donnie was also a Beaver County businessman who contributed to the community through his professional life and local relationships.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, bandmates, colleagues, and generations of fans. His music, spirit, and legacy will continue to resonate throughout Beaver County and far beyond.

A look back at two memorable events.

AN EVENING WITH MERRIL HOGE: FIND A WAY EVERY DAY

Last week, we welcomed Chamber members and guests to hear Merril share an honest and encouraging message about determination, personal responsibility, and moving forward through challenges—all grounded in the motto that has guided him throughout his life: “Find a Way.”

EDFEST 2026

This past Monday, the Chamber was pleased to sponsor EdFest 2026, which brought educators from across Beaver County together at the CCBC Golden Dome. Keynote speaker Michael Bonner brought energy and humor while inviting attendees to move, participate, and collaborate with those around them. At the heart of his message was a challenge to be “crazy and consistent” in the pursuit of excellence.

Thank you to everyone who supported our Merril Hoge event and to the organizers, fellow sponsors, presenters, and participants who worked together to make EdFest 2026 possible.
