Renee’s Run Continues to Make an Impact at Riverside 💚🍍⚾️
The Riverside Baseball Federation is proud to serve as the fiscal sponsor of the Renee Giles Riverside Baseball Legacy Scholarship & Experience Fund, helping ensure the funds raised through Renee’s Run continue to directly benefit Riverside Baseball players for years to come.
The fund was established to carry on Renee’s impact within our baseball community in two meaningful ways.
60% of funds raised are dedicated to the Legacy Scholarship Fund, supporting Riverside Baseball players as they graduate and take their next steps. Earlier this year, $6,000 in scholarships was awarded to Riverside's Class of 2026, and the fund will continue with another scholarship awarded to a deserving Class of 2027 graduating senior next spring.
The remaining 40% supports the Baseball Experience Fund, created to provide opportunities, experiences and special memories for the kids playing Riverside Baseball today.
We're excited to share the first impact of this year's Experience Fund:
Each of our seven Riverside All-Star teams received $450 — $3,150 total — to help with tournament costs, team apparel or another experience that directly benefits their players.
Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing photos from our teams so the Renee’s Run community can see their contributions in action.
RBF is grateful to Renee’s Run, its organizers, sponsors, participants, donors and volunteers for continuing to invest in the kids of Riverside Baseball and for trusting our organization to help carry this fund and Renee’s legacy forward.
From supporting graduating seniors to creating opportunities for the kids taking the field today, Renee's impact on Riverside Baseball continues. 💚🍍⚾️
This is Renee’s legacy in action.
