The Baytown Disc Golf Festival, presented by Lyte Fiber and sponsored by Innova, is coming to Baytown October 17–18!

The PDGA B-Tier tournament will feature three rounds at Jenkins Park and Tabbs Bay, beginning at 9 AM Saturday. Visiting players can stay at the Waterfront Hyatt at a reduced rate and enjoy Saturday night’s Players Party nearby. To learn more and register, visit https://bit.ly/4ha08dY.

Tyke Hike returns to the Baytown Nature Center tomorrow, September 4! Little explorers ages 3 to 5 can enjoy hands on activities while learning about the plants, animals, and nature around them.

Our first adventure will explore rolly pollies, with kids learning about these tiny creatures and searching for them in nature!

Join the Texas Geocaching Association for a Geocaching Trash Cleanup!

Saturday, September 19, 2026 | 9–10 AM | Bayland Park

Geocachers, friends, families, and volunteers are invited to pick up trash as part of TXGA CITO (Cache In Trash Out) Across Texas and World Cleanup Day. Meet at the boat dock at Bayland Park, located at 2641 Highway 146 Business, Baytown, TX. Bags will be provided, and non-geocachers are also welcome!

What a weekend for judo in Baytown!

This past Saturday, the Baytown Community Center welcomed more than 200 veteran competitors (age 30 and older) for an incredible day of judo competition.

The tournament was the largest veteran judo competition in the United States, and we were excited to see so many athletes come together right here in Baytown!

Thank you to everyone who competed, supported, and helped make the event a success!

Pooch-A-Palooza is almost here! Get ready for a morning of fun with your four-legged friends at Jenkins Park.

We are starting the fun early to help beat the heat, and there will be plenty of water stations, shaded areas, and grassy spaces throughout the event to help you and your pup stay cool and hydrated.

Enjoy the Doggie Dash, Mutt Strutt Costume Contest, We**ie Dog Races, adoptable pets, vendors, and the Canine Stars Stunt Dog Show, featured on America’s Got Talent!
